Title: 6d Cardy formulas
Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss the supersymmetric partition functions of 6d SCFTs on R^4 X T^2 and S^5 X S^1 by focusing on their Cardy limit asymptotics. For a 6d SCFT on N M5-branes, the Cardy free energy is proportional to N^3, and it accounts for the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy of large BPS black holes in AdS_7 X S^4. In particular, I will explain the two different approaches to obtain 6d Cardy formulas: the elliptic genus of self-dual strings and the ‘t Hooft anomalies.
